Such a fulfilling trip.
Learnt how to snowboard, ice skate, and sled amongst other things.
Experienced different cultures, tried so many new cuisines, wrote and collected postcards, did all the touristy things but also stayed at home and watched movies on the couch.

2019 served as a harsh reminder that the world isn’t just full of highs but also unexpected, hard falls.
Life has been kind to me a great many times, but it’s so easy to focus on one negative that I’m feeling anything but thankful at this point.
What’s needed is to appreciate the small pleasures that we’re blessed with.
Be more grateful, more forgiving, more loving, and less resentful.
I hope that in 2020 I make a conscientious effort to be all of the above.
Well you only need the light when it’s burning low
did this place have more lights or more tourists?
