#Apa#Apassioni reboots your skin, brings it back to its healthiest, most youthful state, while #LalaRetro provides a replenishing barrier. Reapply it regularly for nourishing relief from dryness.
Here’s Your Smoothie Recipe:
🥤Morning or night, mix a pea-size amount of #Apassioni with #LalaRetro and apply to clean, dry skin. (Note: avoid eye area 👀)
Here’s a Tip: Limit your initial use of #APassioni to once or twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night.

Welcome to #SocialSunday🐘 (Have a Q for our founder, Tiffany Masterson? Drop them in the comments and she’ll try to respond!)
This week’s Q: I have been using #Framboos for quite some time, but no longer feel a tingle after application. Does skin get used to actives over time?
A: Tingling isn’t always something to be expected. It depends on how sensitive your skin is to exfoliating ingredients, like glycolic acid—some experience tingling and some don’t (which is the sensation from the dead cells being dissolved and broken down). But can you become immune to actives? The short answer is: no.
Beneficial ingredients, like glycolic acid (an AHA) or salicylic acid (BHA), are as much about prevention as they are about treatment. Skincare is, at its core, about giving skin more of the things that keep it healthy—more antioxidants, vitamins, emollients, anti-irritants, etc. while protecting skin against the things that cause harm.
For example, AHAs & BHA work to keep skin smoother and more evenwhile *also* helping improve the texture + tone of skin over the long term because as we age, even out of our teens, our skin becomes less efficient at shedding dead skin cells on its own.
Mostly, this is due to cumulative sun damage that occurs in your younger years, but can also be affected by factors such as skin disorders, diet, poor health & environmental stressors (irritants, pollution, etc.). As skin becomes less efficient at managing cell turnover, it can develop blackheads, congestion, become rough, textured, uneven and dull.
A well-formulated AHA/BHA exfoliant helps skin out by gently, gradually breaking down and dissolving built-up dead cells (revealing the healthy and fresh skin hiding underneath).
Because skincare is as much about prevention as it is treatment, skin cannot become “immune” to beneficial ingredients any more than your body becomes adaptive and immune to a healthy diet and exercise routine. Broccoli is just as beneficial at 20 as it is at 60. The earlier we start on these healthy behaviors, the better, which is just as true for your skin as it is for the rest of your organs. tm💁🏻♀️

“Sixteen-year-old me, pimple-y with electric blue braces, thought my embarrassing acne would be nonexistent before I turned 20. Fast forward six years and I’m still that same girl popping away in the mirror…minus the braces. This and a harrowing journey through acne medication and retinol lead to my current skincare obsession: all things #DrunkElephant.”
