Homemade #glutenfree#crockpot ropa vieja 😍. GlutenFreeRecipe ALERT 🚨. Super easy to make and so delicious- even for leftovers reheated #easyglutenfree. TO MAKE: 1. Cut long pieces of 1 onion, 2-3 bell peppers (I ❤️ red, yellow, & orange), and 1 clove of garlic (you can also use garlic powder for super easy). 2. Cover the bottom of your crock pot with olive oil then place a variety of garlic, onion, & peppers to line the bottom. On top of it place an uncooked flank steak. Then cover the flank steak with the rest of your onion, peppers, & garlic.
3. Add in two jars of traditional marinara sauce and a jar of chili such (if you like it with a little kick- we used @paqu_jaya chili sauce). About a cup of water (or until your steak and veggies are covered). 4. Turn on crock pot on high for 6-8 hours. Let sit and go have fun... or go to work.
5. Come home and your whole home will smell amazing. Don’t Wat everything- focus. Take the top of the crock pot and with two forks pull apart and shred the flank steak.
6. Make 2 cups of rice (follow int instructions on label). Then, heat up a can of beans (we just microwave them). 7. In a bowl, add rice, beans, & top with your cooked ropa vieja. Garnish with cheese (we used @rizobros Oaxaca cheese), guacamole 🥑 , & chips (we used @nina_muru arracacha chips)!
