Are these early sunsets wrecking your night? Keep the little guys entertained til bed with Rail Wreck. It teaches colors, sorting, and a tiny bit of strategy. Pick it up on Amazon!
We all have our fair share of ups and downs when it comes to our kids. It's not always sunshine and rainbows and children who listen the first time you say something. 🧚♀️
Sometimes it's carrying your wailing child surfboard-style out of a Target because they aren't able to hear the word "no" at that particular moment without losing their damn mind. 🤷♀️🤦♀️
Sometimes they say the perfect thing that makes your heart swell with love and pride, and five minutes later they say something so horrible that you wonder if you're raising a psychopath. (Anyone else? 🙋♀️ Maybe just me?)
Parenting, especially if you are raising particularly strong-willed kids, can run the gamut from "What did I ever do to deserve your awesomeness?" to "What planet did you come from?" to "I have no idea what I am doing right now and you are NOT HELPING."
We have all been there. We are all just doing the best we can on a minute-by-minute basis, hoping we don't mess anyone up too badly as we go. If you had any bad moments today, I feel your pain. If you felt you were lacking, I encourage you to take a deep breath, make a quick note of how you can handle it better next time, and then let it go.
Because just when you think you have a handle on things and might know what you're doing, things get turned upside down and you're back to square one again. That's just how it goes. For all of us. Do the best you can and call it good.
I'll do my best to do the same. 🙌💖
Long weekends mean I get to hang out with my fave boy, @stellanadventures, and our fave botzee, Rex!
This new robotics kit from @pai@paitechnology has been our favorite pastime the past few days. It’s so much fun playing and building botzees with the unique, gender-neutral pieces available; then, letting Stellan learn coding concepts with the interactive Augmented Reality (AR) puzzles in Play mode. I love how visual the coding blocks are. It makes it easy and more accessible for early or non-readers, including my 4-year-old. As you can see, Stellan has already learned how to program Rex to dance, play music, light up, and more!
I absolutely recommend this to kids, especially those who have expressed interest in coding and STEM! Check out Pai Technology Robotics Kit, Botzees, now available at Apple stores and online for $99.95! It’s a great investment into our children’s love for learning ❤️ #playwithpai#sponsored @paitechnology
